Robin Bagley
Professional Life
Robin Bagley is a professional nurse with nearly four decades of experience in all areas of hospital health care, including 12 years running an extremely busy emergency room on the night shift. She earned her BSN from the University of Northern Colorado. After doing bedside nursing for many years, she moved on to assist with the design and installation of an electronic health record system. She now works primarily with health care providers, building their order sets and electronic chart applications, and in training providers on this electronic system.
Non-Profit Experience
As a professional nurse, Robin has worked in staff and managerial positions in non-profit hospitals. While her involvement with the LCHF is her first experience with non-profit management, her experience working in hospitals is an invaluable asset to the Board.
The Importance of St. Vincent Health and the Health of Lake County
Robin volunteers with the LCHF because she knows first-hand the vital importance of hospitals in rural areas. With our location far from urban hospitals, time is of the essence when people need acute medical care. St. Vincent Health gives a patient a fighting chance to survive in emergency situations. Our local hospital has always been—and will continue to be—one of the most valuable resources in our community, and Robin is proud to devote her time and energy to its success.
Personal Life
Robin has a son and is now a proud grandmother of two children, a boy and a girl. She takes satisfaction and joy in watching these two—and their parents—as the grandchildren reach their teenage years. Robin also loves crafts and enjoys making handmade cards, painting and crocheting. She is also an avid reader and accomplished cook. She brings levity to Board meetings with her great sense of humor and wonderful laugh.
